Eric Levesque has been teaching emergency response and life-saving skills since 2002 and has served as a valued instructor with CPRBoston.org since 2015. With more than two decades of experience in emergency services, public safety, and healthcare education, Eric brings exceptional real-world expertise to every CPR, AED, First Aid, and emergency preparedness training program.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has been a certified and active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) since 2004. Since 2013, Eric has served as a full-time firefighter with the Dedham Fire Department, where he responds to medical emergencies, fires, hazardous incidents, rescue operations, and public safety emergencies. He has also been an active member of the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team since 2016.
As a CPRBoston.org Lead Instructor and Supervisor, Eric has extensive experience conducting CPR, AED, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and emergency response training programs for groups ranging from two to more than two hundred participants. He regularly supervises and coordinates teams of instructors during large-scale training events and corporate training programs.
Eric’s leadership responsibilities include mentoring and coaching instructors, ensuring compliance with CPRBoston.org and American Heart Association (AHA) training standards, monitoring instructional quality, and training new instructors in classroom management, student evaluation, time management, and teaching techniques.
