Dennis Mahoney, MPH, CSP, is a nationally recognized healthcare educator, American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor-Trainer, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), and Chief Executive Officer of CPRBoston.org. With more than 25 years of experience teaching lifesaving skills, healthcare education, and professional development programs, Dennis has trained thousands of healthcare providers, first responders, public safety personnel, educators, and community members throughout Massachusetts and across the United States.
Dennis served as CEO and American Heart Association Training Site Coordinator at CPRBoston.org for more than 20 years, and previously as AHA Training Center Coordinator at Carney Hospital for over 10 years. He is a former Director of Educational Development Associates, a nationally recognized critical care and healthcare continuing education organization, and has served as a Clinical Instructor for multiple hospital-based healthcare education programs.
Dennis has served as Adjunct Faculty in Community-Oriented Primary Care programs affiliated with Boston University and Tufts University, and as a University Instructor in Respiratory Therapy education programs. He is a Lead Instructor for the Massachusetts Tobacco Control Program and University of Massachusetts, and has served as a Healthcare Consultant through the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers.
Dennis holds the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association — the highest earned designation in the professional speaking industry — and is the author of Consult and Speak in Healthcare.
