David Meade has been a valued instructor with CPRBoston.org since 2011 and has helped train more than 7,000 students in CPR, AED, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) skills. His commitment to emergency preparedness, life-saving education, and hands-on training has made him a trusted instructor for healthcare professionals, first responders, educators, and community members throughout Massachusetts.
In his full-time career, David serves as a Quality Engineer for a major Defense Contractor, where precision, safety, and performance are essential. Outside of his professional engineering role, David is deeply committed to emergency medical services and public safety.
David has more than 10 years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has served as a Massachusetts EMT Instructor, educating future emergency responders in patient assessment, emergency care, trauma management, and prehospital medical treatment.
An active member of the National Ski Patrol, David serves as both an EMT and Ski Instructor, providing emergency medical care, rescue operations, and outdoor safety education. He is also experienced as a Ski and Rescue Toboggan Trainer and Examiner. In addition, David served for more than five years as an EMT Instructor for Northeastern University’s Emergency Medical Technician Program.
