Darryl Christmas is a highly experienced emergency response professional and instructor with more than 22 years of experience teaching lifesaving skills, emergency preparedness, and public safety programs throughout Massachusetts and beyond. As a valued member of the CPRBoston.org instructor team, Darryl has trained hundreds of healthcare professionals, public safety personnel, educators, security officers, students, and community members in CPR, AED use, First Aid, bleeding control, and emergency response techniques.
Darryl serves as a Sergeant and Medical Officer at a local college, where he is responsible for campus emergency medical preparedness, AED program compliance, emergency response training, Narcan deployment programs, and public safety initiatives. He is an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Heartsaver CPR AED, and First Aid Instructor with more than 22 years of teaching experience.
Darryl is an American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed Instructor with 15 years of experience teaching hemorrhage control, trauma response, tourniquet application, and bleeding emergency management. He is also a Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) Instructor providing emergency preparedness and public safety education, an International CPR Consultant with 15 years of experience, and an EVAC Chair Instructor with 5 years of experience teaching safe emergency evacuation procedures for individuals with mobility limitations.
Darryl brings extensive real-world experience in cardiac arrest response, AED deployment, medical emergency management, Narcan administration, campus emergency preparedness, and incident command.
