May Ho is a highly experienced American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor with more than 18 years of experience as a first responder and over 7 years teaching CPR, AED, and First Aid courses. As an active firefighter and emergency response professional, May brings real-world emergency medical experience and practical life-saving expertise to every CPRBoston.org training program.
Throughout her public safety career, May has worked in a busy 911 emergency response system for more than 10 years, responding to medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, cardiac arrests, and other critical incidents. As an active firefighter, May has firsthand experience working in high-pressure emergency situations where teamwork, communication, rapid assessment, and effective patient care are essential.
May has extensive experience teaching healthcare providers, first responders, workplace safety teams, educators, and community members. Her engaging teaching style focuses on hands-on learning, practical application, and building student confidence. She is committed to helping participants develop the skills necessary to recognize and respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies.
