Hodari Keels is a highly experienced American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor who has been teaching CPR, AED, and First Aid courses with CPRBoston.org for more than 15 years. Known for his engaging teaching style and commitment to emergency preparedness education, Hodari has helped thousands of healthcare providers, public safety professionals, educators, and community members develop the confidence and skills needed to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
A lifelong educator with a passion for public service, Hodari brings more than 30 years of experience as a Lieutenant with the Boston Park Rangers. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in numerous leadership roles, including Training Coordinator, Medical First Responder Instructor, and Mounted Unit Supervisor.
Hodari is a former Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) who provided prehospital emergency medical care with Fallon Ambulance. His instructional career began with the American Red Cross, where he taught CPR and First Aid courses before becoming an American Heart Association Instructor through CPRBoston.org.
In addition to his AHA credentials, Hodari is certified as a Medical First Responder Instructor through the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC), further enhancing his expertise in emergency medical response, public safety training, and adult education.
