This program is the lowest cost course in the greater Boston area<\/li>\n<li>Provide the American Heart Association certification good for two years<\/li>\n<li>Are BLS CPR Provider course is a one session program<\/li>\n<li>Are offered every week<\/li>\n<li>Is the Basic Life Support CPR Provider course for student nurses, allied health professions, day care providers, and all other interested community members<\/li>\n<li>Never canceled<\/li>\n<li>Provide\u00a0 your CPR certification ecard\u00a0within 48 hours of passing the course<\/li>\n<li>Are approved by JCAHO, OSHA, and Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care<\/li>\n<li>Are available for CEUs<\/li>\n<li>Allow you to register online (see below)<\/li>\n<li>May transfer fee for missed programs to future dates up to 30 days<\/li>\n<li>Provide access for all interested<\/li>\n<li>Can be offered at your organization (Click here for information)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Basic Life Support CPR course is the full course and includes training in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of\u00a0victim&#8217;s breathing and pulse<\/li>\n<li>CPR rescue breathing and CPR chest compressions<\/li>\n<li>One and two person CPR of adult, child, and infant<\/li>\n<li>Foreign body airway obstruction techniques (Heimlich maneuver)<\/li>\n<li>Use of mouth-shields and other barrier devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Easily Accessible Boston BLS CPR Courses<\/h3>\n<p>All BLS CPR Provider courses are held in the Riseman Lecture Hall located on the first floor of Carney Hospital. Carney Hospital is located at 2100 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA, 02124.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital is located on the MBTA line and accessible from downtown Boston and all major highways.
